Interactive Voice Response System Assists Customers In Finding Retailer Locations

Newton, MA - November 16, 1999 - Linx Communications, Inc., a leading Communications Service Provider (CSP), today announced that Tire Warehouse, a leading provider of quality tires and auto parts for consumers and auto dealers, has implemented an innovative Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solution from Linx that allows customers to find and connect with more than 50 retail locations throughout New England and New York.
Using Linx' LinxOffice Automated Attendant as an outsourced IVR solution, Tire Warehouse provides a single toll-free number for customer inquiries that interactively guides customers to the closest store location and to a full product directory. Previously, Tire Warehouse had to manage separate phone numbers for each of its locations. Linx ties all its stores together into a single number, allowing Tire Warehouse to be more efficient and cost-effective in its customer service and support efforts.
