LINX CONTINUES ON GROWTH TRACK

Communications Service Provider Recruits Top-Notch Talent

Newton, MA - November 8, 1999 - Linx Communications, Inc., a leading Communications Service Provider (CSP), today announced several new hires and promotions as a result of expanded business opportunities and successes as a leading provider of unified communications services. Linx announces the following new hires and promotions:

  • Christopher Stimpson is Senior Marketing Manager, focused on developing and managing Linx' marketing communications programs including advertising, direct mail, public relations, channel relations, seminars/conferences and Internet marketing. Stimpson was previously with GTE and Dragon Systems, where he was the International Marketing Communications Manager.
  • Seth Wayman is Manager of Customer Support responsible for the daily operations and management of Linx' Customer Support Department. Wayman comes to Linx from Stream International, Inc. where he was the Customer Support Team Manager, responsible for providing web and voice-based technical customer support.
  • Al Tassone is Product Manager, responsible for guiding Linx' overall product development strategy of its unified communications services. Tassone comes to Linx from CP Clare Corporation, where he was a Marketing Manager responsible for developing marketing programs for the company's line of communications products.
  • Jeff Curvey has been promoted to Director of Sales responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and tactical plans for all sales and distribution, including direct sales, channel partners and service roll-out. Previously, Curvey was Regional Sales Manager where he managed the direct sales force at Linx.
  • Geoff Martin has been promoted to National Sales Manager responsible for managing and expanding sales activity and staff throughout the major Metropolitan Service Areas. Previously, Martin was Account Executive at Linx, where he handled the EMC account and opened the Tire Warehouse account.
