Managing your Linx Account
The Linx system uses your pager to notify you of activity in your account. For example, you will receive a page when you receive a message or a fax - it will even let you know if the message is marked urgent. Important paging codes include:

1 A caller is holding to speak to you

2 Someone has left you a voice message

3 Someone has left you an urgent voice message

4 You have received a fax message

5 You have received an urgent fax message

6 Problem receiving a fax message

8 Problem printing a fax message

TIP:
Don't have a pager? Don't worry. Linx works with or without a pager.
If a phone number is attached to a voice message, the pager notification will indicate the appropriate code and the phone number. For example, a voice message from 800-555-1234 will read 28005551234.

If you receive a fax message and a phone number is attached, your pager notification will include the appropriate code, the number of pages received, and the phone number. For example, a three page fax received from 508-555-4000 will read 40035085554000.

TIP:
Remember - you no longer have to return calls from a pager. You can dial into your account and take the call or place a call from a voice message.
If there is a phone number on your pager with no code in front of it, someone has paged you directly (not through your Linx account).

You also have the option of having message notification sent to your PCS phone. Please contact Customer Support for details.
