To log into your account, dial your account number (555) 555-5555, press * and enter your passcode.
To skip over a greeting or message within your account, press #.

What do the codes on my pager mean?
The codes on your pager indicate the type of incoming communication:
000  indicates an incoming call from an unknown caller
1     indicates that you have a caller on the line, holding to speak
       to you
2     indicates that someone has left you a voice message
3     indicates that someone has left you an urgent voice message
4     indicates that you have received a fax message
5     indicates that you have received an urgent fax message
6     indicates a problem receiving a fax message
7     indicates a problem printing a fax message
If there is a phone number on your pager with no code in front of it, someone has paged you directly (not through your Linx account)

How do I answer an incoming call when I am already on the line with another caller?
If you receive a call while already on the line, you will hear a tone similar to the call-waiting tone. When you hear this tone, you have the option of disconnecting from the original call by pressing ***. You will then hear your new caller announced. Connect to the new caller by pressing 1.

How do I handle multiple callers in my account?
If you do not wish to disconnect from your original caller, place the caller on hold by pressing ###. You will then hear that two callers are holding. Press # to hear the name announcement for the second caller. You may then connect to the second caller by pressing 1 or send the caller to voice mail by pressing 2.
You always have the option of putting a caller on hold by pressing ### or disconnecting with a caller by pressing ***. Once you hear the name announcement of any caller in your account, you have all the options available for directing that call (take the call, send it to voice mail, forward the caller to another number, etc.)

How do I move calls from one phone to another?
If you would like to move your call from one phone to another (switch from mobile phone to office phone, for example), you may place the caller on hold (###), dial into your account from another phone, and press 1 to reconnect to the caller.
If you are not logged into your account and would like to take a call, you may dial into your account from any phone and press *. You can then press 1 to connect to the caller.

Can I transfer a caller to voice mail when we have finished our conversation?
When you have finished speaking to your caller, press ### to place the caller on hold. You will then hear the Connect/Redirect menu. Press 2 to send your caller to voice mail.

How do I make multiple calls from my Linx account?
To place a call, press 9, then enter the number to dial followed by the # key. When you would like to end the call, press ***. To place another call, press 1, followed by the number to dial. To return to the Main Menu, press *.

How do I create a conference call?
You may create a conference call at any time by placing your caller (one conference participant) on hold (###). You will then hear the redirect menu. Press 7 to place your caller in the conference room.
To add another conference participant, press 3, place the new caller on hold (###), and add the caller to the conference room (7). You may continue to do this until you have all the callers you need in your conference room. Press 1 to join your conference.
Note: If you often use the conferencing feature of your LinxConnect account, you may like to try LinxConference. With LinxConference, up to nine callers are able to call into your personal conference line at any time. They simply have to call your unique LinxConference number and press 5 to join.

How do I recover a message that I erased unintentionally?
If you mistakenly erase a message, immediately press #, followed by 7. This will replay the message and allow you to save it. If you do not realize you erased the message in error until you have already listened to other messages, press * (one time only) and 1 to go back to the first message. Do not hang up your phone or return to the Main Menu. These actions will cause your message to be permanently deleted.

How do I know what time a message was received?
If you press 5 while listening to your message (or fax description), you will be given the date and time the message was received, as well as the sender's name (and/or phone number).
